Something started pawing my face. I groaned. I felt horrible. "Get off." I mumbled. Opening my eyes, I saw a cat, and went to push it off. I was stopped by a sharp pain in my shoulder. I yelled in response, clutching my shoulder.
Septimus ran in with a strange girl, "What's wrong?"
I gave him a glare, "what do you think?!" I snapped, trying to sit up. Rule number one, you don't want to be around me when I'm in pain. I couldn't manage to sit up. "Get this thing off me!" I hissed, pushing the cat with my good hand off the bed. Well, tried.
"Ah... Sorry about that! Sir-pounce-a-lot! Get here right now!" Septimus instructed. The cat jumped off and meowed at Septimus.
I managed to sit up. "Seriously?"
"What?" Septimus asked, obviously confused.
The mysterious girl chuckled, "I know."
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?" Septimus said, obviously exasperated.
"You. Who would expect someone so strong and tough, would have a house cat as a pet... And name is Sir-pounces-often?" I snickered.
